TENMAT AT THE NECA CONVENTION 2013

TENMAT OFFERS ONLY FULLY UL TESTED SOLUTION FOR 2'x2' AND 2'x4' LIGHTS

TENMAT is proud to announce the launch of its new 1 hour UL tested FF130 Fire Rated Cover Series for Troffers and Fluorescents.

This new economical solution is the only pre-assembled and  fully tested solution by Underwriter Laboratories (UL) to meet the building code when installing 2’x2’, 1’x4’ or 2’x4’ lights in a fire rated ceiling.

The covers come ready-to-use, do not require any assembly and can be fitted easily, making it the preferred choice for new construction, as well as remodeling projects.

 

 

Both products have been tested and approved by Underwriter Laboratories (UL), the most trusted and accredited testing facility in the United States and satisfies the International Building Code, as well as the Uniform Building Code requirements and are classified for use in the United States, as well as Canada.

THE QUEEN'S AWARD PRESENTATION CEREMONY 23/08/2012

TENMAT recently celebrated the winning of The Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation 2012 at the company headquarters in Trafford Park, Manchester. The event was a complete success with VIPs, customers and TENMAT employees all interacting whilst enjoying the entertainment and refreshments.

It was an honor to have guests such as the Lord Lieutenant of Greater Manchester, the Mayor and Mayoress of the Trafford Borough and local MP, Kate Green all in attendance.

 

The presentation ceremony was held in a 70ft marque that was erected at the front of the TENMAT premises with over 200 people enjoying the presentation whilst listening to the sounds of the grand piano.

The day also compromised of a factory tour for all VIPs and customers which showcased TENMAT's diverse product range and technical capabilities. The factory tour gave an insight into TENMAT's Wear Components, Fire Protection Products, Engineering Ceramics and High Temperature Resistant Materials.

Product displays were in and around the factory and offices to allow all visitors and employees to handle the products and learn more about the technical capabilities and applications of the products.

VIVA LAS VEGAS

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Conference & Expo is the fire protection industry's most comprehensive event and attracted a large number of code officials, fire protection engineers, architects, specifiers and contractors to this year's event at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV.


While they might not have won millions of dollars on the roulette tables or slot machines, attendants lucked out by seeing the newest innovations in fire protection, including TENMAT's line of fire rated recessed light covers, ventilated fire barriers for rainscreens and cavities, intumescent joint and linear gap seals, fire rated pipe sleeves, fire stop blocks and electrical switch box inserts.

Thank you, if you had the chance to stop by our booth at the AIA 2012 National Convention and Design Exposition last week.
If you did not attend this year's AIA trade show, you really missed out on a great opportunity to see the latest industry innovations, receive personal product demonstrations and meet over 800 exhibitors, including TENMAT.
During three busy exhibition days, TENMAT was able to present its line of passive fire protection solutions, which include fire rated recessed light covers, ventilated fire barriers for rainscreens and cavities, intumescent joint and linear gap seals, fire rated pipe sleeves, as well as, fire stop blocks and electrical switch box inserts  to architects, engineers and specifiers from all across the nation.
Especially our line of ventilated fire barriers for rainscreens and cavities received great interest among the architectural community and was a hot topic among fire protection engineers and architects alike.
